The Ebook Experiment Seven Years Later

I recently came across my old blog about experimenting with self-publishing. It’s hard to believe seven years have flown by and my dream became a career.

Speaking to new authors about the many questions they have about the process has inspired me to start blogging again, although I might change the name of the blog.

Day in the life?

Not sure yet.

But if you’ve read this far, I’d like to say WELCOME.

If I could give you only one piece of advice, it would be to stay positive and don’t give up. Keep writing, keep learning. If you speak to the wrong people, the sky is always falling, the ride is always over.

I didn’t listen to the negative Nellies in 2011 and I don’t hear them now. Yes, stay aware of where the industry is going and adapt. . .but the ride is only over when you give up. You.

And what a whatever ride it can be. If it never paid a single one of my bills. . .the magic of this is that my stories have been enjoyed by readers. Is there a greater joy to any writer?

As a new year begins, I hope you are filled with as much hope and inspiration and I am. Leave a message below if you read this.

Let’s chat.
